Tools of the trade

My main tools are pen and paper, it's just not possible to beat the rough and fast prototyping that can be done by so simple means. However, sooner or later there is a need to do the ral thing. That's when I use Adobe Illustrator for most of my work on my Mac.

Colophon

This site is coded in valid XHTML 1.0 and valid CSS, which means that any standards-based web browser such as Firefox, Safari or Opera should render it just fine, I can't guarantee full Internet Explorer compability due to it's lack of support for common standards. However, should you encounter any bug, don't hesitate to contact me.

Present

I am a student at the Cognitive Sciences programme at Linköpings University. I freelance doing graphic design, specializing on corporate identity and prints.

When I'm off the clock I tend to spend most of my time with my girlfriend cooking nice dishes (which we both heavily enjoy). When not in the kitchen, we both train martial arts – Jui-jutsu.

Past exprience:

1. 2006 Blaskan, Linköping.
   Part of a project developing a custom-made Content Management System for a sizable student online newspaper.
2. 2005 SMHI, Linköping and Norrköping.
   Head of a project group overseeing and producing new representations for meteorological maps sold to most major Swedish newspapers.
3. 2004 – 2005 AstraZeneca, Södertälje.
   Developed a system to allow for laboratory and production facility workers to test and order of safety equipment shoes.
4. 2003 Gothia Cup, Göteborg.
   Responsible for planning, accommodation, beds, organisation and food for approximately 1500 youths.
5. 2001 – 2002 Military service.
6. 2000 – 2004 Fenix Kunskapscentrum, Vaggeryd.
   Part time job as a network and computer hardware/software support and janitor.

Education:

1. 2003 (– 2007) Cognitive sciences
   at the University of Linköping.
2. 2002 – 2003 Computational Linguistics
   at the University of Gothenburg.
3. 1998 – 2001 International Baccalaureate
   at Per Brahe High School in Jönköping.

Future

I am aiming for a masters degree in Cognitive Science 2007 and a masters degree in Interaction Design 2008 through 2009.
